Carnival Elation Cruise Out of Jacksonville

I was on a recent 2016 Christmas cruise on the Carnival ship Elation out of Jacksonville, Florida and was very disappointed with the condition of the ship.

The Carnival Elation is very old and is in dire need of renovations. The rooms especially need to be completely renovated and were not very clean.

The food and entertainment were average. The wait staff in the Inspiration dining room was exceptional. Lead waiter Joey and his team made the cruise bearable.

I would think that the only ship coming out of Jacksonville would be much nicer. But, as long as people keep booking, Carnival won't invest in renovations.

I will not ever go on that ship again.
