My brother and I at Dunn's River Falls, Jamaica
On my family's Western Caribbean cruise with Carnival Destiny, we visited Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.
I had the time of my life!
Let me start with the food - delicious! They had a nice buffet. There was chicken, rice, Chinese food, etc.
There was a spa, but of course kids weren't allowed to go in. There were Jacuzzis or what some people call hot-tubs.
There was a huge water slide for the kids. Carnival Destiny has three big pools and kiddies pools. I didn't really like the pools because they were full of saltwater.
There is a basketball court where most teenagers went to play.
There was stuff for table tennis, shuffleboard, and even mini golf. There was a jogging track, a casino, and other things for people to do.
Carnival Destiny has two beautiful formal dining rooms and your seats are assigned to you after you book your cruise.
The cabins on Carnival Destiny are nice. Some cabins have a window and some don't. I don't like the ones without windows.
There is a kid's club where kids can go. It is called Camp Carnival. There are even clubs for the teenagers.
The ship has a nice theater where they have shows and other things.
When we went to Jamaica I kind of wanted to stay. We went to the beach and then climbed Dunn's River Falls. At the falls the water was really cold.
